Freebie Friday: A Hello Kitty Digital SB Quick Page

Hello Friends!!!

I know, it's been a while. This past week, it has been super crazy busy. We had stuffs going on at church, a friend and her family visiting, and planning for my Gramma's birthday party. Crazy week, but I took a breather today, and sat down and created a page, and a couple of freebies for ya! It is a Hello Kitty Digital SB Page, with 2 picture slots for you to put your very own pics. Here is how the page looks with 2 pictures:

The elements that I've used is from Sanrio {{Hello Kitty}}, and Mindy Terasawa. The adorable cutie in the pic is my girlfriend Cathlyn's baby girl.

I have 2 versions of this layout - 1 with the "Sweet" sentiment, and the other without it. Both are in .png format. You may download these freebies here:

Enjoy and have a blessed weekend!!

Aloha,
Jen

Cricut Class Kit - July

Hey Gang... back in July, I hosted a Cricut Class, and attendees created 3 projects. Here are the projects that were made. I have only 5 kits left if anyone is interested in purchasing them. The kit includes these 3 projects, for you to assemble yourself. You will also receive access to my Cricut Cuts blog to view the tutorials in how to put these projects together. Thought that this would be a fun way to play with Cricut Cuts without having to purchase the machine or cartridges. Scroll down for link to purchase kit (after these sample pics).....

I Miss You card....

Hello All! Today I tried out a sketch over at Creative Card Crew. Just for the heck of it. Did this card while watching "All About Steve" last night. OMGosh! That movie is HILARIOUS!!! I just love Sandra Bullock, but oh goodness, she just cracked me up through the entire movie. Well, if you love a high energy, funny romance, this is the movie for you! Sandra makes me feel all giddy!! Lately, I've been watching movies while I create, because I brought my Apple computer from my bedroom to my craft area here in the dining room, since I cleared out the section for Cy's bed. I am able to go on 2 computers at the same time, and I didn't realize how much fun it would be. So to take full advantage of it being next to me, I've decided that I should pop in a movie now n' then so that I can watch n' create at the same time. I love it!

On to my card... Today I am sharing with you a card I created using the sketch shown above to do my card layout. I colored this image a while ago, using my copic markers. She is an image drawn by Elisabeth Bell, and I can't remember where I got it from, but this is only like the 2nd time I've used this beautiful image. I really enjoy coloring Elisabeth Bell's images. She is amazing!!! The sentiment is computer generated, and the frame around the sentiment is from Stampin' Up!'s My Digital Studio. The flowers are from All Natural Accents, and can be found @ Little C's. Although I am no longer selling rubber stamps, I still have a good amount of embellishments, such as flowers and dew drops. So stop on by and check out what I've got. I also have stamps sold as "Grab Bags". Already sold quite a few, so I've been asked to make more, and I will be sure to do so - it's just that it's been quite busy around here, so just gotta find a pocket in my schedule to do those things. I've got Grandma's birthday party coming up, so looking at making 50 favors for her party. I've already made the card box, and need to still work on the Sign-In List and the favors. I wanna work on those this week, so that I don't have to worry about them next week. Then I've got my niece's Baby Shower to work on thereafter. FUN! FUN! FUN!!!

Well, gotta run! Got a full day of stuffs to do today, have a great time today...

Aloha,
Jen

Good Morning Crafters!! It is time for another Little C's Create a Card Challenge. This month is the last month that we'll be having the Little C's Challenge Blog up n' running. After the end of the month, there will be no challenges. I will however continue to post a the Tuesday challenges on my blog, as well as the Scrappin' Saturday Challenges here too. I will have a pleasant surprise for all of you come August 1st. =0)

Ok, on to the challenge. This week's challenge it to create with a trio of Summer Fun Colors. Orange, Green n' Blue always feels so Summery, doesn't it? I thought these were fun colors to work with, so I hope you do too!! Check out the Little C's Challenge blog, and come and play with us this week.

For my project, I wanted to do another Peek-A-Boo card. It was so easy to create and all the cutting and measuring is already done for me, using my Cricut machine and Design Studio. I posted the tutorial to put this card together in yesterday's post, so check it out. The image is from The Greeting Farm, which you can purchase at Pineapple Cove. DSP is BoBunny, and cardstock is from Stampin' Up!. I also used stickers to decorate this card. I colored the image with Copic Markers. The rubber stamp sentiment on the inside is from Stampin' Up!, and the chipboard sticker is from Bazzill Basics.

Well, we have a busy day today, and I hope you are keeping busy yourself. God Bless and have an enjoyable week!!!

Aloha,
Jen

From "Da Bin": Peek-a-Boo Card: DS and GYPSY Cut File...

When I receive RAK's I place them in a container which I call, "Da Bin". With these wonderful creations from my talented and crafty friends and readers out there, I thought that CASING a RAK that I've receive would be a fun challenge for me. I hope to CASE at least 1 RAK per week. So thank YOU to those that have sent me RAK's along the way. This should be fun!!

Today, I am CASING a card that I've received from Eunice of A Star For Cheimi. This is a peek a boo card which she sent me awhile ago. When you first look at the card while closed, there is an image shown, and when you open it, another image or message is revealed {{within the circle on this card}} .

I used my design studio program and Cricut machine to make this card. I used the George cart for this project, and I have cut files available in DS and GYPSY format. For those of you that own a Cricut and can cut this on your machine, I will put together a little tutorial to show you how to put this card together. It's pretty simple and FUN at that. Thank You Eunice for such a sweet RAK and inspiration to create it!!!

On this card, I pretty much used a bunch of rub on images, such as the owl, the flower, and the butterfly. The sentiment and frame around sentiment is from Stampin' Up!'s My Digital Studio program. The DS is from 3 Bugs in a Rug, and the Deer die cut is from the Create-a-Critter cartridge. I love this cartridge. It's soooo adorably C-U-T-E!!!! I was demonstrating to my fellow Glama Gurl Sister, Vina how cute this cartridge was this past weekend, and this is the image that I cut to show her. I took my white pen and added some features that I thought should be white on a dear... I think she turned out pretty cute n' sweet. I tied a lil' pink ribbon around her neck, and she was now adorable!! =0) I liked her when she was first cut out, but I like her even better with the white pen coloring... love that cart, I can see a lot more creations coming out of that one!!

Well, I hope you have a great start of the week. May the Lord bless you throughout it.

Aloha,

Jen

Update: Here is the link to the tutorial on putting this card together! Enjoy!!

Featured Cricut Cartridge: George

Well Hello There!! Yesterday was my "Featured Cricut Cartridge Day", which I missed out on, because I was out n' about doing stuffs with my kids. So I'm posting this today... I used the random number generator on Random.Org to help me decide which cartridge I would be featuring. The # selected was #20, and #20 on my Cartridge list is "George". So off to my craft table I went to play with this cartridge. While there are many things to create using George together with the Design Studio program, I wanted to feature items that I can make manually, for those that don't have the Design Studio program "just yet". SO here's what I got...

I am working on my Grandma's birthday stuffs, and one of the projects is a box for her birthday cards. So I took my camera box that I had lying around for several years (lol! I don't like throwing boxes away, unless I really know that I don't need them, and found this box in my closet, while clearing it out). Well, I dressed up the box, first with a layer of black cardstock, and then DSP from 3 Bugs in A Rug. I cut the sentiment "Birthday Blessings" on my Cricut, using the George cartridge. 1st using the base cut, and then using the shadow cut to make the black layer. The flowers are also from George. But I used Tim Holtz' Grunge Flower technique to make these 3D flowers. I've also did a step-by-step picture tutorial to share. I've seen sooo many tutorials on making this pretty flower, but was 1st introduced to it by my girlfriend, Ali. When she n' I were messing around making paper flowers - so much fun!!

Here is the top of the box, the opening is where the cards can be slipped in. I really like te pretty black n' red color combo that I've used. I sprayed them with White/Crystal Smooch spray. Which I purchased from Photo Craft. They have an array of Smooch sprays along with other crafty goodies there, so if you live on Oahu, or visiting, be sure to check it out.

Close up of the paper flowers...

.....

Well I hope you have a splendid weekend. I've got my Glama Gurlz coming over tomorrow, so I'm excited for that. Be Blessed and Smile, because Jesus Loves You!!!

God Bless...
Jen
