It's time for another month of Aloha Fun RAKin' month.... Sign up is OPEN. (must be a handmade project)

Wee.... this should be FUN! Ok, don't forget, send along 5 stamped images and you will need to email me a pic of your creation(s), so that I may post to my blog @ the end of April... speaking of which.... come back to my blog @ 10 am Hawaii time, and the projects for the month of March's Aloha Fun RAK will be posted. (Theme: Pink, Brown n' White). Oh ya, and if you haven't already done so, please mail out your Aloha Fun RAK's for the month of March....

Updated: To clear up some questions on the "Anything But A Card" theme... just to be on the same track - create a project and it must be handmade... e.g. a paper crafted purse with note cards in them, a covered notebook, a decorated memo pad, those kinda stuffs....

The Greeting Farm - Sassy Suzy

The Greeting Farm is coming out with a new release on the 1st of April, and will be available for purchase thru Little C's. We will have samples shown right here on my blog, of the new released items, and a lil' giveaway. I hope you can stop by and check out what the Diva's came up with!!

I myself was getting all excited about inking the new stamps that were added to inventory. Sassy Suzy here was one of the 1st ones that my eyes was oogling about. =0) I colored her with my Copics, and I am so thrilled that I have used a lot of Cricut elements on this card.

The scallop strip is a Cricut cut, from the Accent Essentials cartridge. The swirls I think I got it from the cartridge, Home Accents. Sorry, not to sure about that one. The layer that Sassy Suzy is stamped on is from A Child's Year. I love it, because it could totally pass for a Spellbinder Nestie, right? The sentiment is computer generated. The flower is one of the newest Primas to arrive @ Little C's. Ain't it a purdy one?! There are so much more others to choose from too! So be sure to check them out here. The background embossing is from Cuttlebug, the newest "Star" folder.

This week is super busy with the Greeting Farm's release, arrival of CC Designs, Good Friday and Resurrection Day!! I'm totally excited, and looking forward to this busy week.

Aloha Fun RAK Projects - March 2010

Sorry so late! I was having problems with uploading pics to my blog this morning, and quickly found out that I needed to download and install the new Picasa software. If you are having problems as well, try going to www.picasa.google.com and installing their newest download, it helped me, so thought I'd put it out there, maybe it'll help someone else as well.

Here are the projects that were created by some of the participants of the Aloha FUN RAK - March 2010. I've left out the names of who the creators are, only so that it doesn't spoil the fun of it's receiver.

The theme for the month of March was "Pink, Brown n' White". Look at all the cute projects these RAKr's came up with. Their receivers will be thrilled!!! It's ok if you didn't get to send me a picture of your project for the month of March, don't worry about sending it. Rather, if you sign up for the month of April, try and remember then to send a picture.

Freedbie Friday: Milk Carton on SCAL: SVG and SCUT Cut Files!

Happy Aloha Friday! Freebie Friday is here!! Today I have a Milk Carton cut file for the SCAL. I have both SVG and SCUT files available. Here is what I created with this cut....




Sentiment is from Dandelion Designs, Cow is a cut from Everyday Paper Dolls cartridge. The spots on the milk carton were hand cut and sponged on the edges.

Frills - Ashlyn's Alphabet Border Cut File

I was playing with my DS program, and decided to create another border cut. This one requires the Ashlyn's Alphabet cartridge, which I don't have, so not able to test it out. But if I can find more ways to use this cartridge, I just might wanna go out and get it. If you use this cut, please let me how it goes...

Layout For School's Yearbook/Memory Page

My cousin asked me to design a couple of pages for her daughter, who plays basketball, so that she could use it for a "Memory Page" in the school's yearbook... here are few of them that I came up with....

5 x 7 Birthday Box - Cut File

I cut this Birthday Box on my Cricut X, using the "Tags, Bags, Boxes n' More" cartridge. I saved the cut file, so that I can use it again. I was able to stuff a good amount of goodies in there. If you would like to use this cut file (and saving yourself some time in not having to fuss with the sizes yourself), you may do so by clicking here. Size is about 8.5" x 5.75" x 1.25". The sentiment was also cut on my Cricut X, using Lyrical Letters. I've added some sticker diamonds to each letter to jazz it up.

Hidden Kool Aid Barrel

I decorated a Kool-Aid barrel to give as a little goodieto my girlfriend's daughter, made it like a basket thingy. Used A Child's Play cartridge on my Cricut, for the little fairy die cut on the front. Used Lyrical Letters for her name. Prima Flowers & Leaves were also added, and then accented with some pretty pearls. I used the Trim Scallop Border cut that I created on the Design Studio program, to pretty up the top n' bottom edges of the basket. Can you see the Kool Aid Barrel hidden in there?!
