Cricut Basic & Cupcake Basket Cut File and All Kinda Cupcake Finds....

Happy Friday!! It's Freebie Friday here on Pieces of Me...and guess what today is?! It's my birFday!!! I'm 37 today... weee hoooo!!!

Ok, please sing with me... "LA-LA-LA-LAAAAAH....HAPPY BIRfDAY TO ME... HAPPY BIRfDAY TO ME... HAPPY BIRfDAY DAY DEAR JEN-JENNNN.... HAPPY BIRf DAY TO ME!!!! AND MANY MORE...." Doesn't this birfday cupcake cake look so darling?! Ok, pretend that it's mines (minus the "1" at the top of it).

Ok now that's outtah the way.... today I have 2 freebie DS cut files to share with you, and the theme is - what else...CUPCAKE!!!!. But first, a "Basic Basket" cut. It is a cut that will allow you to basically create any type of basket you'd want to make, simply by cutting and piecing the basket, and then cutting your choice of die cut(s), and adhering the die to the sides of the basket, don't forget to cut a 1-1/2" strip to make your handle. I will do a post of just that alone on a later day. You can find this cut by clicking on the "Design Studio Cut FIles" link located under "Quick Links" on the upper left sidebar.

Today, I have the Cupcake Basket Cut that I would like to also share with you. But I have a sample here for you to see what it looks like when pieced together. I love these because they are easy to create, and fun to fill!!

I used a red button for the cherry and sticklez to add glitz to the topping. I took a white pen and drew in the lines of the cup part of the cupcake. =0) The cartridges that I used for this cut file was George and Mini Monograms. You will also need the Design Studio and Cricut Machine in order for you to view and cut these cut files I am putting on here. The strip again is just a piece of 1-1/2" strip of cardstock and then connected at each edge. You can find these 2 cuts again by clicking on the "Design Studio Downloads" link. They are listed under "Baskets".

**Updated 5/1/10: Added GYPSY Cut File - download cut file under "Gypsy Cut File" link located on blog sidebar.**

Now here are some cupcake images which I've found throughout the web.....

Hamburger Cupcakes - they look so petite n' cute and yummy to eat!!

Doggie Cupcakes... WAAYYY Too Much Frosting For ME!!

Bookmark Cupcakes... Of course! Because when I read, I'm always munching on something - and a cupcake ain't so bad to munch on while reading!!!

Behold... a Cup Cake Holder, called "Cup-A-Cake".... I don't need one of these, they'd never go to good use, since my tummy would always cup my cupcakes!!

Darling Cupcake Charms.... from Dazzle & Chunk (they have a whole lota variety of cupcake charms to drool over!).
Pool Ball Cupcakes... pretty neat, huh?!

Very interesting.... Brain Cupcakes... now it was RED frosting, would've been more realistic!

Thought these Cupcake Outfits were interesting enough to add...
She's adorable....

She doesn't look too happy about wearing this Cupcake outfit....

Have a Blessed Friday and a WONDERFUL Weekend... I will see ya all back here on Monday!!!

God Bless....
Jen

Hello Kitty Shower Kits

Yesterday my car broke down. HMPF! Today I had the tow truck tow my car to the repair shop. So that is why I am late in posting my creation this morning. =0) Here are some Hello Kitty Shower Kits that I created and sold at the craft fairs I did towards the ending of 2009. The holder was a single cocoa holder. The Hello Kitty die cuts were cut with my Cricut X, using the Hello Kitty Greeting and Fonts cartridges.

Thanks for peeking!!

Hugs,

Pics of Projects Created For Craft Fair

Ok, here are more projects I created for the Craft Fair I did last year @ Calvary Chapel. I had a lot of fun at this one, because 2 of my bestest friends attended this craft fair with me.... Barbara n' Rose. =0) What a fun day it was. My hubby also brought down my boys, so it was nice to see them that day. I also saw my favorite girl, Rina and her family, Janine, Gina (whom I've met through Facebook, and who was just so happen to be visiting the islands, so she decided to stop by n' meet me in person - what a blessing!!!), Ms. Gloria, My Ali-Gurl n' her family... and oh gosh.... so much people from church and some not from church stopped in to purchase or just to say "hi". It was just so sweet to see them all, and they made the day even brighter!!! Thanks Sisters!!! BTW the photo of us was taken using the "self timer" on the camera. LOL... I love doing that!!! =0)

Here is a pic of my booth all set up. Those things in the back are wrestling mats. We were in the gymnasium. A local wrestling team meets there weekly.

My Cy-Cy with a balloon parrot on his shoulder. It's his 2nd parrot, as the 1st one lost it's head (we couldn't have him walking around with a headless parrot). =0)

Daddy n' Cy-Cy enjoying the lunch they had at the fair... hmmm - I think it was Hot Dogs n' Hamburgers? I see that Cheetos bag... yummm!!!

Ok, here are my projects... decorated covered composition books. They were a hit!!!

This Hippo is from Pink Petticoat, a company that offers digital images via online. Check it out, she has all types of cute stuffs. This Hippo is one of them.... I colored her with my Copics, and the flower is from Fred She Said, another digital image company. The flowers were pre-colored, so when I printed it I didn't have to worry about how I was going to color it.

Here is another image from Pink Petticoat.

Again, the flower that I used to accent it with is from Fred She Said.

The image on this notebook is from Elisabeth Bell's collection... I just adore this artist!!
I colored this image with my Prisma Colored Pencils... Flower is from Fred She Said.

This image is from The Greeting Farm, flower is from Fred She Said... I colored her with my Copics.

Hello Kitty... I colored her with my Copics as well...

Another Fred She Said image... I think I colored her with my Copics and matched the colors on her dress as close as possible to the colors of the DSP.

Here are Hello Kitty note pads with pen. They are Sizzlit Hello Kitty die cut which also embossed. I sanded the cardstock on the left to get that look.

Here is a close up of all the handmade items on my table. The Hello Kitty were all cut from my Cricut X. I used vinyl for them to stick on the plastic containers.

Here are some coffee holders, which I cut out a dove symbol of on my Cricut X using the SCAL program.
Okie dokie... that's about it....

Prayer Request: Please pray for my girlfriend, whose dog recently lost her life to old age. She misses her terribly. Please pray for peace and comfort on her heart. Thank You and God Bless!!!

Tin Project

Hello There!!! Here is a project that I had the Glama Gurlz do sometime in 2009. LOL!!! Sorry that I am posting this one soooo late... I got this idea from my Maria of Stampin' Inspirations. Thanks Maria!!!

The images are digis from Nancy Kubo. DSP is from TAC. The GG's had a lot of fun creating this one.

It is a tin can, on the inside a calendar, and a flower with a magnet behind it, also a pen and post-it note pad. Great for anyone's desk.

Prayer Request: Please continue pray for those in Haiti. That families are reunited with their lost ones and pray for healing and comfort on those that have lost their loved ones. Thank You and God Bless!!!

Hugs,

Today's Verse - simply put... even tho' the chips may be down in your life, have faith in knowing God will save us all!!:

Though the fig tree does not bud and there are no grapes on the vines, though the olive crop fails and the fields produce no food, though there are no sheep in the pen and no cattle in the stalls, yet I will rejoice in the LORD, I will be joyful in God my Savior.

Angel Henry Mouse on Gable Box

Hey There... This one has been created a while back. This image is Angel Henry Mouse who is from Whiff of Joy and can be found at Little C's. He's on a gable box that I actually made a while ago, and it's been sitting on my table for a lil' bit now, just thought I'd add Henry to it to decorate. I colored him with my Copics and added some glitter to his wings. I cut his tail off because it gives me the hibee-jibees... The blue dew drops just adds a pretty look to it, doesn't it?! You can find some of those Dew Drops @ Little C's as well!!!

Prayer Request: Please pray for my girlfriend, her hubby and their family as her hubby traveled to Afghanistan and will be there for about a year for work. Please pray that a hedge of protection cover him as he is there in the war zone, as well as giving him the strength and courage to witness to those around him whether he be at work or on the field. Please pray for my girlfriend and her family, that she and her kids are healthy throughout the year, that nothing around the house breaks down and that a hedge of protection is also over them. Thank You and God Bless!!!

Hugs,

Hello Kitty Digi Image, Strawberry Card and HK Strawberry "House"

Hello There!! Check this out - a Hello Kitty "Strawberry House". Got these pics on the internet, and thought it was pretty neat to share. This seems so odd to me, being that there are no buildings here in Hawaii that even looks remotely close to a Banana or a Strawberry for that matter....

Here is another image from a different angle....how's all the black mold build up on there huh?! I have MORE to share with you - a digi image n' Cricut project down below.... you all seem to be loving these cut files, and I am truly blessed to receive all of your comments, they are both encouraging and so appreciated! Thank You!!!

Here is the Hello Kitty image I would like to share with you...

Here is the image shot of my Strawberry card cut on the DS program. Cartridge used is Hello Kitty Greetings.

Here is my creation with the Strawberry Cut File and Hello Kitty Strawberry Basket Digi Image. I embossed the layers with CB folders, colored with Copics, and Stickles for glitter:

Here is a look at the Strawberry card open - on the inner part of the card, I cut a white layer to place on the inside. On the cut file, I have this on sheet #3. But before adhering, cut the stem off first.

A close up shot of the embossing n' sticklez....

Alright, if you would like the Hello Kitty Strawberry Digi Image, please post a comment here with your email addy, so that I can reach you. If you'd like to download the cut file, you can get it from here listed under "DS Card Cut Files"

Have an awesome day n' a wonderful weekend, and remember, although you may not know it or you may not believe it, I'm here to share it.... JESUS LOVES YOU!!!

Big Hugs n' Blessings.... Jen
