Update...

Hi Gang!!

Well, things are ok, I am here at my son's school, about to serve lunch. Been trying to get back into the swing of creating. I packed all of my Little C's stamp products, and put them away in a box. I then occupied the drawers which the stamps were in with my own craft products. Slowly, I am getting my craft area reorganized. I want to start working on projects, but don't have table space to do it at the time. Last week, my boys, hubby and I were all stricken with Food Poisoning. Grrrr!! It wasn't a good week for the Young's household. But through prayers, and God's healing hands, we were back to normal within days. It was tough, but we still carried on. I was more sad for my boys, having to see them go through all that vomiting.

With all that going on with Us Youngs, there was something fun for me to look forward to on Saturday. It was my monthly Craftin' Fun Day with the Glama Gurlz, and I've opened it up to the public for other Craftin' Sisters to join the fun. I will have pictures of that day later, and then the adorable project kit we created.

As of right now, I've gotta get back to getting my craft area clean, because I can't seem to get the creativity grove on, when I see piles of "stuff" all over the place. I will have to finish it quickly, because I have to finish up some stuffs for this weekend.

So see ya all real soon!!
Hugs,
Jen

Stuffs About Today:
  • Fixing my dining room area from Little C's store, to Jen's "Craft Area".
  • Going to dinner tonight, to hang out and fellowship with my brother and sisters, since my sister Nasha is in town.
  • Can You Believe that my COUGH is still here, not entirely here, but not entirely GONE either. I'm SO over it!!!!

  2. Jen-have you ever been tested for acid reflux? One of the signs of it is a persistant cough. Trust me on this. The doctor can test you depending on what he wants to do. Endoscopy or xrays after you swallow some stuff. Ask him about this.

  3. Good to hear everyone is doing better..poor boys. I just cleaned up my craft room. I'm totally with you, when the room is a mess, you really can't get creative. Good luck!

  5. I am stopping by from Rina's blog... So fun meeting more Hawaii bloggers in this great world of blogging! You all do such amazing, beautiful cards!

Since I have been working outside our home as a dental hygienist, my "blog, drawing, craft, sewing, quilting, crocheting, baking, etc" time is so limited! Looking forward to doing more...but thankfully, I am able to keep up with the art orders I receive. I need to do a lot of organizing with my craft/guest room...I tend to pull everything out!

Definitely, it is a blessing to have the knowledge of the Lord's healing manifest in our lives. So good to hear that all of you are back to normal. We are blessed, blessed, blessed that our son is a cancer survivor...he was 14 when diagnosed...and now is a strong, healthy 20 year old Junior in college.

    Blessings & Aloha!
I miss our children's "Hana Bata" days :o) with homeschooling or volunteering at their schools.... ah...well...hopefully we will be living near our future grandbabies and will be able to watch and volunteer as they grow :o)

  6. Praise God for His healing on on your family. Being ill is never fun, but having the stomach flu is especially yucky. Have fun cleaning your craft area. It's a lot of work but I am sure you will be happy once it's all organized. I often need to stop to clean and organize my stuff too. For some reason if things aren't my mojo like yours is blocked. So happy that your craft gathering went well on Sat. Can't wait to see your post with the kit all of you worked on. I will continue to pray for you and your cough. Have a wonderful time tonight! Hugs!
