TMJ Update & NEW Aloha Keiki Release

Good Morning! Update on my TMJ - actually, everyone has a TMJ, I found out it is a TMD that I have (Temporomandibular Joint and muscle Disorder). Thank you all for your sweet comments, and personal emails, as well as your loving prayers!!! My appointment went well. Shots we're painless - Thank U, Lord!!! Therapy, of stretching my face muscles took about an hour. When I first went in, I could open my mouth @ 25 cm, today, I am able to open it to about 30 cm. Not quite "sandwich" size, just yet - I was told to slowly stretch my mouth daily by using my right hand fingers to slowly open it up. Crazy huh?!

Anyways, we have a NEW release of images from Aloha Keiki's today - it is our Winter Wonderland line of images... these are super cute n' fun to color. Best of all, they are digitals, and all you need to do is download, print n' color like any other image that you use on your project(s). Although Christmas is right around the corner, don't forget - you can always use them on your Thank You cards. =0) Well, here are the new images:

Baby Invitations & A Little Note About Thanking Someone Who Is Always There For You...

Good Morning Friends...

What a beautiful day it is here in Hawaii. I put up some solar lights for my walkway on the side of my house. I only got up 4 this morning. I put them up as I was doing the laundry. I tell ya, I cannot just do one thing, and finish it completely, I end up doing something else. So the laundry went into the house, and is sitting in the basket while I did the solar lights. I hope they work well, if they do, I'm heading back to Walmart and picking up more to complete the garden. HAH! I hope they don't sell out. =0)

Ok, today's project, I have the Baby Invites that I did for my niece. It is computer generated, and the butterfly I cut out with my Cricut. I made about 50 invites, so it was so easy to cut the butterflies with my Cricut, which took less than 5 minutes to cut all 50. The printing is printed on pink velum, and I used my laser printer for it. The ribbon is light pink grosgrain ribbon, which I picked up for super cheap - I think it was 50 yards for $7. I forget though from where at.

The craft fair this weekend at Mililani was good fun. Rose (my best friend from High School) sat next to me and had her own booth selling her sand-blasted glass containers. Soooo pretty. I will post pictures later. If you want to check her out, she will be at the Moanalua High School craft fair this weekend. I won't be able to attend that one, however, Rose will have some of my handmade items for sale.

My stamping sister Barb was there with me as well, helping me sell my stuffs. Barb is super sweet to always help me to do anything. Whether it is for craft fairs, glama gurlz events, and even family gatherings, Barb is always included and always there for me. I'm soooo grateful for having a sweet loving and most definitely a giving friend like her to give her time to be with us. Do you have someone in your life like Barb?! I bet we all do... don't forget to thank that person, it's always nice to be recognized and not the kine where you tell everybody at the party "Barb was the one that helped me - so thank her..."... lol... not like THAT... the sincere kind of thanking, where only you and her are together, give her a sweet sincere hug, and sincerely say it with all your heart, how important she is to you and your family, or for you to have her in your life. My hubby and I always tell Barb how much we love her, and how much she means to us. That really is all that a person needs to hear. She doesn't expect anything back, and a hug is sooo worth a thousand and more words. And you know what?! It builds your relationship and friendship for each other to a higher level, and the respect for each other as well, shines through your friendship. Thanks Barb, you are the bestest!

Anyways, I'm off to go and see that TMJ Specialist. Please continue to pray for my jaw that is not opening to it's full extent.

Have a beautiful day and blessed one as well.

God Bless,

Christmas Tags with Rachelle Ann Miller Snow Man

Hey there... here are some tags I created for a past challenge that was going on at LC's Stamp n' Scrap Hawaii. I guess I forgot to share it on this blog... so here it is. The tags were all created using Spellbinder die cuts. The adorable snowman image is a Rachelle Ann Miller stamp. When it comes to Christmas images, snowmen are the easiest and fastest to color huh? I think that's why I chose this image, I was probably running late on the challenge, and I just needed something simple to do.

Yesterday, after the craft fair, we attended a company party for my hubby's business associate. Tonight, we have another company party to attend later after service. Hope you are having a blessed day today, and enjoy your week!!

Little C's @ Mililani Craft Fair TODAY - 12/5 and Little C's Challenge

Good Morning Friends!! First an announcement - Hawaii Crafters... Little C's will be at the Mililani Rec Center #5 from 9 am - 2 pm today, 12/5. Come and say "hi" to Barb n' I. Take a picture with us, and receive 10% off your purchase. You must mention this "coupon" if you come by.

Over on LC's Stamp n' Scrap Hawaii blog, we have a challenge for you..... Who has time for a challenge this time of year, huh?! LOL... who knows, we'll find out soon enough, I guess. I figure we're all tooo busy trying to run around, that we can't just stay put in one place to create. At least I find myself doing that. Yesterday, I was at Walmart at one moment, and the next moment, I was at home setting up my artificial Christmas tree. Within 45 minutes, I was out the door at a Used Card lot trying to make the owner a deal to purchase my mom's PT Cruiser. Next hour later, I was in my parent's home, eating chicken for lunch... lol... crazy, crazy... Anyways, the challenge is to create using any animal stamp.

I decided on using 2 stamps together. The animal stamp is from The Greeting Farm, while the girl is Nora of CC Designs. I also used Fun Flock on my image - actually, this is the same image I showed in the previous post. I didn't have it complete yet, but here it is. I also used Fun Flock on my rabbit. It's soooo cute with these fuzzy wuzzies on them. The sentiment is a Hero Arts stamp. Love It!!!

So how is your shopping coming along? I think I am done with the presents for the kids. Amazon.Com baby!!! Some I got from Walmart, but most was done online @ Amazon. So much easier, and shipping is always FREE - at least for the products I chose.

Anyways, one issue I've got going on is with my jaw. I recently have been having problems, that I can't open it wider than 2 fingers. It's irritating because I cannot get in a good yawn, nor can I eat sandwiches. I went to my dentist about 2 weeks ago, and returned this week, but his suggestion didn't help. So now, I'm being referred to a TMJ Specialist... looking forward to hearing what he has to say, and what it is he'll be able to help me with. This has been going on about a month now, and at times it is painful, but most times it is irritating. Please keep me in your prayers for quick healing....

Have a fun weekend... we're going to have a busy one!

Hugs,

The Chaos Of Crafting During The Christmas Holidays

Hello my friends.... hows everybody doing!?!? Going nutz, yet?! I am... with all that is going on, woooo hoooo, what a whirlwind of festivities we have going on. This is the busiest month of the year for me, how about you? If you agree, raise your both hands. S-T-R-E-T-C-H back.... ok, now that you've stretched out those muscles, let's continue... December has always been crazy for me... but, I think this month has GOT TO top the scale!! I have Christmas Craft Fairs every weekend, and then when I get home from those fairs, I have Christmas parties to attend. Companies that work together with my hubby invites him, and fortunately, I get to attend with him. What a blessing it is to be busy n' crazy this time of year - it just tells me one thing - that I am truly blessed to have all this whirlwind, because if I didn't, I'd be sitting around twittling my thumbs, and I don't know how my Adult ADHD would handle THAT!!!

Ok so this past weekend, we had our Glama Gurlz gathering. I decided on sharing with the ladies the use of Fun Flock. Gosh, I haven't use these things since back when I first started stamping, and I thought everybody would've known how to use it, or at least heard about it. Well, no joke, some of my stamping sisters was like, "what is THAT?!"... of course, we not going buy stuffs if we don't know how to use it, right? So, at first, Barb n' I purchased the entire set to collect. But when they came in (26 bottles), I told Barb, "We bettah use 'em for something, or these just going collect dust". So I figure the next GG gathering, I should show everybody how it's used.

That's just what I did. I took a couple of CC Designs images, and used my Fun Flock on them. It was so much fun and so easy to use.

This 1st image that I used the FF on is called "Nora" - I know her outfit is kinda "kapakahi" (messed up), uncoordinated in colors, but I was just trying to show the GG's how the FF would look when it is directly applied, opposed to having the image colored prior to FFing. Nora's coat has FF applied directly to it, but her boots I colored prior to adding the FF, so it still looks nice n' fuzzy, but it has a darker tint because I used a pen to color underneath it. For the outfits that I put FF on, I colored with regular markers. For her face n' hair, I colored with my copics. Not sure if blending would be able to see if I FF over it. But didn't want to waste my copics, just incase. I'll try using copics on another image later, and then find out.

This 2nd image is "Santa Brigitta" - she's sooooo adorable, ya?! I just love these cute CC Designs. Ya, if Little C's don't sell out, a lot of my stamping sisters will be receiving them as Christmas Gifts. LOL.... And if you're one of them sisters that is wondering "WHAT?! It'll be tooo late to receive this image AFTER Christmas - then here's an idea "THANK U CARDS"... LOL.... Nah, but I know all my Stamping Sisters are grateful when it comes to me giving them something from my store, at least the ones that I'm close to... what a blessing it is to have each and everyone of them in my life....

Ok, back to my image, you can see how I put arrows with writings inside to say which was colored prior to FFing and which I applied FF directly. How's my nails?!?! Compliments of Ms Lena at Pearl Highland's Queen Nails (this is a PLUGG!!!)...Oops! Sorry, ok back to my flocking... You can totally see the difference with this one, because the Lt Pink FF on Nora is very subtle, but the red on Brigitta's dress looks almost transparent because the Red FF is a lot darker. But look at her velvety hat... so yummy, huh?!?! Her socks I applied the FF directly. Her hair kinda looks like I FF'd it too, doesn't it?! But I didn't... I think it's just the way the markers made her hair look.

After the GG's left, I put this card together. The sentiment is from Hero Arts, the Scallop Circle was punched out with an EK Success brand, DSP is from TAC. I faux stitched the edges, with an American Craft marker. Oh, and the red dots on the Scallop circle is Copics Spica Sparklie Red pen. Buttons are from my stash. The embossed background is "Swiss Dots" from Cuttlebug.

Ok, stay tune for more FF used on my projects. Debating if I should bring these in to sell... debating, debating.... well, at least all GG's that attended decided on purchasing a set of their own... tooo funny!!! Now we're all going to have FF to add to our collection of collections.

Well, gotta go... time to wake up my lil' one to start his day.

Have a beautiful day, no stress!!

Aloha,
