Gillian Roberts @ Little C's

Hello There!!! Here is a Gillian Roberts stamp that is now available at Little C's. I used this stamp to make my project for the week over at Little C's Stamp n' Scrap Hawaii. There was a bunch of other Gillian Roberts stamps for sale at Little C's, but most of them sold, and there are only a few left, so if you want to check them out - you better head on over there now. My picture here is a blur because I used my cell phone to take the pic... I used my spellbinders for the Scallop Circle cuts, and a Sizzix embossing folder. The strip in the middle is a coral ribbon about 1-1/4" wide, I love it!! The DSP used is Martha Stewart. I also used Sticklez, which you can barely see, but it is there... and copics to color the image. And my daily blurbs...
  • Weather - Nice n' Sunny, Cool Breezes in between.
  • Dropped off my oldest son to school this morning (CY4), and went to Nanding's to pick up some pastries (Filipino Bakery)... Cy stayed home with me again, Dr says he has clearance to go back to school tomorrow (Thurs). We headed over to my mom's @ 7 am, and did a "Surprise" breakfast for them.... we ate Spanish Rolls, Ensamada, and Pandesal with Coffee and Cocoa for Cy.
  • Gave the 3 doggies a bath (Ceasar, Cammie n' Chrisjen)
  • Threw in a load of laundry
  • Need to send out Little C's orders, iron CY3's aloha shirts, and do the dishes (man, and I thought I just finished them dishes yesterday!!).
  • 1 thing I remembered that happen yesterday: I waited in the car for CY4 for 1 hour after school got out, because he attended a "preview for testing" class, we left the school at 4 pm, I texted my sister Nasha and niece Sierra and spoke to Bernee on the phone while I waited, Cy slept most of the time in the back seat, good thing Manoa is cool....
  • Yesterday's craving: I was totally craving for some chocolate yesterday (while waiting in the car)... but once I got home, I forgot about it. Thinking about putting a container of chocolates in my car, in case I have another craving today. LOL!!
  • Update on camera's: Sales Rep at Sony told me to go to Best Buy to get a copy of my receipt for proof of purchase so that my repair can be free.... man, I thought I saved those receipts... better go look around for them!
  • Cy is working on homework to keep up with school - he's such a good boy!!! Thank you Mary B., for your get well prayers - it's working, because he's energy level is way up high now!!!
  • Last Night's Dinner: Steak and left over Pancit n' Sweet n' Sour Pork (from Vina... thanks girl!!).
  • Puppies Are Training... to go OUTSIDE to poop n' pee.... their poop is so tiny, they're CUTE!!!! LOL...
That's it for now!! Cheers!!

A Tutorial: How To Make A Crustless Sandwich....

Good Morning Readers!!! Today, I have this tutorial to share with you. I saw at WalMart this Dinosaur shaped sandwich making thingy, and thought it would be great to make for Cy for his lunches. When he opens up his lunch, he'll be delighted each time to be greeted by 2 dinosaurs. I have him helping me with this tutorial...

Ok, get 2 slices of top-notch delicious Cascade bread (this bread can only be found at WalMart and is super onolicious, and very very soft - I will only purchase this type of bread, because of it's softness.... try it, you'll agree!!!!)... The sandwich shape maker is on the plate to the right....Spread on your topping - here, we demonstrate with a mixture of tuna and mayo, nothing more nothing less....
Place the 2nd slice of bread on the top of the spread. Now position the shape maker....
Gently push down.... but if you're 4 years old,

PUSH down with ALL your might!!!! Go Cy Go!!!! Notice the technique of my assistant's hands, his wrist is where all the power is... this will make the shapes come out neatly!
Now here, you can also see that he is putting his entire back and legs into his pushing technique.... and having fun while doing it is a MUST!!!!

Now gently remove crust from the outer surroundings....

Remove Sandwich Maker thingy, and "wha-la!"... you've got twin dinosaurs.
I'll back with a project to share, hope you've enjoyed today's sweet onolicious tutorial.

Toodles!

Cricut Projects

Hey There....

Just wanted to share a few projects that I created with my Cricut. These are projects done a while ago, but only have the chance to share now - especially because my camera in not in commission. So looking through some pics I have saved on my computer. I hope to have these up on my Cricut blog as well, along with their downloaded files. Will post here again when it is.

This cut I created using my DS program, and it was inspired by a Sizzix cut.

Here is it's side view....
Another of the same cut, different DSP....

Cupcake Basket - I saw something like this somewhere online, and I copied it using my DS program... great for filling with goodies whenever!

A teddy bear request from an SU! Demo, I created on my DS program, using the same layout as the teddy on the cartridge "Doodle Charms".

And here's a feeble attempt to note my daily life on my blog, in a quick kinda way:

  • Today's Weather - Scattered Showers, Gloomy n' Cloudy
  • Breakfast: Peanut Butter on 1 slide of bread (yesterday's was 1/2 mango and a banana - I just had to note that, so that I can remember about those healthy mornings).
  • Yesterday's greatest accomplishment: Cooking Pancit Bijhon for dinner - and I still have plenty of left overs for tonight's dinner! I think my niece is coming over
  • What I'm going to do today: Take Cy to the doctor (he's home with me again with coughing, snifflin' n' sneezing symptoms - nothing bad, just want him to get checked). Also heading to Sony to drop off my cameras to get fixed, and then grocery shopping. Need to mop n' clean my bathrooms, cancel my lunch with my sister, pickup Cy's homework, laundry, dishes, pick up CY4 from school and HOPEFULLY I'll get to create after all that...
  • Today's Quote: Don't look back.... ah! made you look!!
Ok, that's all I have in a nutshell.... hopefully I'll get to share more daily..
Toodaloo!!!

Christmas Stampin' All Year Long #36

Woooo... the year is really going by quickly, and Christmas Stampin' All Year Long blog is helping us all create our Christmas cards for the end of the year. Well, this week, our challenge is to create with 2 different stamps from 2 different stamp companies.... I didn't make a card, instead, I made a cute Pizza Box, which I got the instructions from Splitcoast Stampers. So easy to create, and so fun to make. Infact, this was the same project, well sorta, that I had the GG's do this weekend. I just used a different sentiment. Well, 1st here is the pizza box that I created for the CSAYL challenge... and I must apologize for the semi-blurry pic. My Sony camera went "ka-putt" on me, and will need to be repaired. In the meantime, I am going to have to use the camera on my cell phone. It's just a lil' fuzzy, but I think it's good enough for now.

The deer image is a Greeting Farm stamp, which you can get here. The Tree Sentiment is actually a Hero's Art stamp. Deer was colored with my Copics and sticklez were added to the tree. The DSP is 3 Bugs in a Rug, and can also be found here.

Below is a pic of the box that the Glama Gurlz did yesterday...

This weekend was a busy weekend for Us Youngs. On Friday night, my hubby n' his the boy's Godfather went to their 20th reunion at Oceans 808, while I went with the boy's Godmother to dinner along with her sister. We later met up with the guys after our long relaxing dinner together - Cy caught the cold that CY4 and I had/have, on Sunday we attended their reunion's "Family Fun Night" at Moanalua HS's cafeteria, and then we headed to Alley Katz for some Karaoke fun - oh what a night!!! On Sunday my Glama Gurlz came over, and that was so much fun hanging out talking stories and EATING!!! Also on Sunday, our puppies came home!!!! Yes, we were patiently waiting on 2 puppies to come home to us, since our friends couldn't take care of them, and they've finally came home.... so you can imagine the air of excitement there is amongst the kiddies.... We got 1 boy and 1 girl.... we named the girl "Cammie", and the boy "Cristian"... we love our "C's" don't we?! LOL.... well, I've posted some pics below, which we took with my cell phone and laptop cameras... so once again, pardon the blur...

Thanks for looking, have a wonderful blessed week!!!

Cy's 1st Day of School

Hey There.... yep, I'm finally posting some pics from Cy's 1st day of school. Kinda late, but better than never, right?! He went back to school on the 1st of September, and he requested tags to be made for his personal items, such as his back pack, his water bottle and his lunch bag. The character that he wanted was "Wyatt" of "Super Why". Such a fun character, and a great educational show for kids to watch n' learn how to read. Here are what the tags turned out looking like, he was so proud to have them on his things.

Don't know if you know, but I sell these personalized luggage tags!! You wouldn't believe all the adults out there that order these tags for themselves!!! It's too cute!! Although on my website, I feature only Himawari Babies images, I can put any other images on there as well... such as Hello Kitty, Strawberry Shortcake, Care Bears, Spider Man, Super Man, Wonder Woman... and the list goes on, n' on, n' on.... check out the Personalized Luggage Tags on Little C's, and order one for you or your loved ones today!!.

Here are some pics I took of my shorty on his 1st day of school.....

Yes, and on the 1st day, he already had homework.... sigh, he's growing up so quickly!!

Have a blessed week, everyone!!! Sorry I've been MIA lately. Been really trying to get on my Little C's store, and bring it up to date... and just trying to get organized here in my home. It's kinda crazy with both kids in school now - although it is quiet, there is soooo much to do around the house. Hopefully I can finish up and finally settle down and start creating with just having to do laundry n' dishes daily instead of always cleaning. ACK! Ok... for those of you that have emailed me and haven't heard back - I will be replying to you shortly. Especially YOU!!!

Big Hugs n' Blessings,
