Stamp n' Scrap Hawaii - Challenge #2

Good Morning n' Happy Aloha Friday!!!! I'm soooo sorry that I have been MIA off n' on this week. There are a few NEW Releases coming up, and with Little C's back in action - oh boy, there's a limited time that I can create, post n' blurf. Nutz...

Well, I wanted to drop in and post SSH Challenge #2 that is going this week on Stamp n' Scrap Hawaii. The DT came up with some beautiful creations. The challenge this week was to be inspired off of the magazine cover that was chosen. Just be inspired of what you make of it... everyone was inspired in their own neat lil' way.

So here was my take on it....

I went with a card that was the same in it's size. Not really sure what the size of the card was - but you can clearly see that it is a rectangle card. I can use this in a #10 letter envelope.

I also was inspired by the bright colors that were used. Soo pretty!!! Also reminds me of summer - and I couldn't resists not sticking with these bright colors.

I also used the same theme of card, which is "birthday". My grandma's birthday is today - Happy Birthday Grandma!!! I think she's 92 today!! She doesn't read my blog, but thought I'd do a shout out to her anyways. =0)

All flowers used on my project is of All Natural Accents. You can find them on Little C's. MORE new flowers are coming, by the way - so be on a lookout. I also used Dew Drops.... the sentiment is from a CB folder, I cut out that section of the embossing, and just layered it on orange cardstock. I also went over it with black ink, so that the sentiment can be revealed more.

The image is of CC Designs, also coming to Little C's.... she's such an adorable Pixie. A lot of companies are coming out with fairies or pixies, and CC Designs is one of the cuter ones out there. You know how I am addicted to cute, right?!?!? I colored her with my Copics.

Anyways, I hope you come and join our challenge. You'll have lotsa fun!!! Ok, time to start on the laundry... Have a beautiful n' blessed weekend!!!

Sassy Studio's Princess of the Sea & Lil' Announcement...

This is it crafters!!! The last of the Sassy Studio images I have to share with you today. It is also the end of the Masquerade Ball.

As for my lil' announcement, it is also the end of my term with Sassy Studio..... I stepped down from being on the Sassy Studio Design Team. With school coming up and renovation of my home, I had to take a step back, and see what I could relieve from my list of DT duties. It was a tough decision, but to be fair, I thought I'd step down from the last company that I signed up with - rather than choosing from all these gorgeous images. Although I won't be shouting out DT announcements - I will definitely continue to create & purchase them. Lindsay is such a talented artist, I don't think I will ever be able to stop using her drawings. Hopefully in the future, she'll have me back. I will miss the Sassy Seven Divas... we all had a great ball!!!!

Toodaloo!!!

QKD Royal Wednesday - Royal Court Challenge

Good Morning!!! How is everyone doing this week?! It's already Wednesday. I was absent for a few days, because 1) I needed a break from blogland n' creating (gotta take a breather here n' there), and 2) I was stuck on Facebook playing Bejeweled Blitz. LOL.... I have the actual Bejeweled game, but the Blitz on Facebook is a lot more fun, because you get to play with your fellow FB friends. Toooo funny!! I do soo much better on the Bejeweled game for my PC... Well, it's time I get back to work, and start creating again.

Today QKD Royal Wednesday is presenting a challenge to everyone. So come along , check out our lil' blog hop, and see what all the other DT's created. The blog hop started at the QKD Blog. If you came here from Jacquie's blog - then you're right on track!!!

So, the challenge for this week is to create a box. Any size, any shape - as long as you can put stuffs in it. At first, I was thinking of using my Cricut Machine for this challenge. But I knew I wanted to make something that would hold 3x3 cards. So instead of cutting it with my Cricut, I used my "Ultimate Crafter's Companion" instead, and created the box using their easy-to-read instructions. (It was easy to read, but I just didn't get it!!)... lol...

Anyways, so here is how my box turned out - and I decided that I wanted to created 3x3 cards for the insides... made 5 of them, using the stamp set called "Puffy Bugs". Sooo cute, I had to get them!!! It's a set of 3 buggies, that look so adorable, you won't want to squish them, but you'd wish you could squeeze them. =0) Ok sorry - delirious right now, it's 11:46 pm., and I just got home from our 1st Home Fellowship. It was on the Windward side, and it was located at a beautiful home.... it was such a blessing to be there, felt great. But boy am I pooped now!!! The worst part, is that I don't have a pepsi to turn to.... booo hoooo....

Now if you want to participate, you have a chance at winning an awesome stamp set that Vicki has posted here. So check it out - and come play along. Next stop is Bev. So check out what she's go up her sleeves to share with ya!!

More Sneak Peeks of Sassy Studio Designs

Aloha!! Hope you're having a fabulous Sunday!!! Here are some more Sneak Peek's of what Sassy Studio Designs are coming out with on the 1st of August..... I just LOVE Lindsay's drawings.... isn't this gurl talented?!?!

Meet Princess Penelope.... yes, she reminds me of Belle from Beauty n' The Beast, but I think she's so Sassy - she's got some "beast" in her!! LOL... love her GORGEOUS dress, which I glitz up with stcklez.... The castle is actually a Castle Card I created using my Cricut cartridge "Dreams Come True" - together with my DS program, that welded the cuts together (one was flipped). Click here to view my Cricut blog for details n' download of this cut file.

Here is another creation I made using Princess of the Orient. The fan that she is holding, and the sentiment are from Hero Arts. I also used a CB border folder, and some white liquid pearls to dot the middle of each flower.

I hope you're having a beautiful day today!!! We had an awesome day at church today. Looking forward to our 1st home fellowship down on the windward side next week.

Have a blessed week....

Christmas Mid-Week Challenge #1

Well, looks like Christmas is right around the corner. So Maria is adding another challenge to the Christmas blog, to help make our cards a little quicker. Therefore, we're to now make "sets" of cards. But, the fun part is Maria says it's open to any type of card sets - LOL.... so not just Christmas, because we may want to give card sets away as Christmas gifts. Which makes a whole lot of sense.

Anyways, I totally forgot about this challenge, but just so happen that I made this set of cards for my receiver of this month's Aloha RAK. Which reminds me - don't forget to send out your Aloha RAK's if you haven't already done so!!! The sign up for August will be posted soon!!

Anyways, here's what I created for my RAK receiver this month. I was inspired by Maria's RAK to me, found here. I just had to create one for the next person that was receiving a RAK from ME!! Not quite the same, but she at least she gave me the idea of making use of it. =0)

I used digtal graphics from Nancy Kubo designs, my scallop circle nesties, prisma flowers and All Natural Accents leaves!! I also used plastic dew drops - which added a nice touch to it. The monogram stamp is from Hero Arts. I used my 1-3/8" circle punch, and my scallop circle punch as well.

For the inside left - I created a pocket so that the envies don't fall out and stamped some firefly images on the envies. The challenge for this month's Aloha RAK was to create a set of note cards for your receiver. So that's just what I did, and I hope she likes them!!!

Thanks for popping by.... have a wonderful Aloha Friday!!

Hugs,

Awesome RAKs Received....

Hey there.... before I keep going on with all these DT samples, I have a very special RAK to share with you. I was blessed with some sweet goodies from one of my dearest blogging sister, Ms. Maria of Stampin' Inspirations. The projects she has sent me is just so beautiful... I really wanted to take great pictures to share with all of you how it looks like in real life, and hopefully be able to give you the same "awe" that I have when looking at these. What a very talented person Maria is. Thank you for all of these beautiful goodies, Maria!! Maria also sent me a bag of birthday goodies (belated)....WOW!!! Soooo sweet...
