Stamp n' Scrap Hawaii's 1st Challege - Sketch
Hello again, Friends!! Please scroll down to view my previous post, as I've posted some pics to share with all of you. Now, this is our 1st challenge on Stamp n' Scrap Hawaii. We have been looking forward to this day! Can't believe it is finally here!! Wooo Hooo!!! The 1st challenge we decided on doing is a sketch - of course! So easy! So, you are to create a card using the sketch shown here, and then upload your creation, and post it to the Mr. Linky box in that blog posting as well. Each day one of the talented DT's will feature what they've created for this challenge, so you can check back daily and be inspired, or go right ahead, and dive into that sketch n' challenge yourself.
Here is my rendition of this sketch. This image is from Create In Me, and is sold on Little C's. It is sold as rubber only - so much cheaper than when it is priced with a wood mount. You could either mount it on Cling Foam, or use with tack n' peel - or even double stick tape, and then use with an acrylic block. It really depends on your preference. It also depends on how you want to store your unmounted stamps too. Because that will determine which type of backing for you to go with. There are more images from Create in Me that needs to be added. So I will get them added as soon as I can.
This is such a cute image to use for the summer. Makes me wanna go to the beach and take the kids to play in the sand. We just might do that - probably next week. Today, we get a new fridge delivered!! Weee Hoooo!!! I'm excited about that - a new fridge to be excited about? No, we're not getting rid of the old one, it just moves into our garage. But we do have a smaller fridge in the garage, and that one is the one we're getting rid of. So, if you're on Oahu, and know of someone that wants a free fridge (u pick up), just let me know... Anyways, copics to color, and lots of dew drops n' sticklez... love these colors to use for summer, and I'm not really into brights, but it's working on me. LOL!!
Ok, please check out the challenge, and play along - there's a wonderful package of goodies to win. And you could be the winner!! Oh yea - and there is a question on there that you must answer.... so read the fine details correctly. Have fun!!
Aloha,
